Bugatti Chiron Profilee 1 of 1

 

At the end 2022 Bugatti surprised everyone with the One of One edition of Bugatti Chiron line up known as Bugatti Chiron Profilee. It is a less radical interpretation of the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sports. It is absolute unique in its character, design and in its detail. The “Profilee” will be launched on the first of February 2023 in Paris. That will be the only opportunity ever to acquire this one of one unique piece of art in the automotive industry and the final W16 powered Bugatti.

 

When the Chiron Pur sports was revealed in 2020. It was the most extreme version of the Chiron family yet to come out of the Bugatti facility. With the wide fixed rear wing, shorter gear ratio and many other feature which made it a very tack focus car. 

The Pur sports was made to go in the corners. It was very quicker than many other car around the track.

 

With the launch of Pur sports some people wanted to get a model that would have the aspects of and characteristic of Pur sports while maintaining the legendary elegance of models like the Chiron. It was here when the Chiron Profilee was born. The president of Bugatti automobiles Christophe Piochon said “Taking customer wishes to explore a less radical version of the Pur Sports seriously into consideration, we started with the design and development of the Profilee in autumn 2020. By the time we saw the pre series vehicle coming out of production, all Chiron slots limited to just 500 were assigned for but we knew that what we had created was too something absolutely beautiful and unique. It’s rare for manufacturer to spend the time and effort to bring a car to full production specification when they know only one can ever be produced. But the profile has been fully developed and tested and has passed each of the high-quality standards that Bugatti applies to all of its car. The Profilee is a bespoke design featuring a sweeping fixed tail at the rear, which carries out two crucial functions. Firstly, the wing ensures stability and control right up to the Profilees’s 380km/h top speed by increasing the down force over the rear axle and secondly it used negative pressure to suck hot air out of the engine compartment via two interior tunnels in the high temperature carbon wing. Airflows both over the top of the wing to generate down force, but also under the wing to draw air from the engine compartment. 

The Profilee maintains much of the purity of the Pur sports; designed for an extra grip and lethal acceleration. It is powered by the same 1500hp W16 engine with 15 percent shorter gear transmission ratio than the Pur sports. But also has the elegant and luxurious feel that the Bugatti Chiron has. Overall the Bugatti Chiron Profilee is a piece of art.
